Six new original tracks have been a-simmerin’ and a-brewin’ on the metaphorical stove! In the mix thus far: guitars, bass, guide vocals and drum machine… now all set to proceed in an orderly fashion to the drum studio for tracking of live drums and character vocals. This latest tranche of songs includes ‘You Stand… Not A Chance in Hell, Doctor Rockwell!'© db 2022 and ‘My Ace, My Sleeve’ © db 2024… both are from Act One of the UK theatre show ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Dead… But Not For Everyone!’

Later this month ‘The Upside Down Show’ on ‘Hard Rock Hell Radio’ will feature the first radio plays of ‘Heartbeat Like A Sledgehammer!’ and ‘Krank Up The Krazy!’ Listen out at 8.00 p.m. on Monday 29th April 2024… Doris Brendel will be rockin’ the red line!
‘HEARTBEAT LIKE A SLEDGEHAMMER!’ & ‘KRANK UP THE KRAZY!’ are now available for streaming and download wherever you love to listen to music! From the script of the U.K. workshopped theatre show ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Dead… But Not For Everyone!’, these special tracks feature ‘Doctor Rockwell’ and ‘Wrenville’, two of the show’s leading characters, with vocals performed by Ben Mills and Doris Brendel.

A retrospective look back to November 2017… the London, UK workshops for the theatre show ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Is Dead… But Not For Everyone!’. Live over three sold-out nights, the UK Krankenstein Band performed 70’s & early 80’s hard rock covers interpolated with the show’s Two-Act script.
Post-workshop, the theatre script has been fully re-edited and now has original songs throughout with music and lyrics written exclusively for the storyline and characters. First tranche of these original tracks is currently in pre-production; you’ll find song excerpts and more info on our ‘Theatre Show’ page!
